Look at me Go!!!
Jenn can hardly believe it, but I have finished a page, complete with a title, journaling and photos. I sat at my table for 4 hours on Saturday and LOVED every minute of it. I took some time to clean up my table and am committed to keeping it clean. I also finished a 4th of July page and am heading to the store to print pics for a back to school layout. I will post it on Friday!
It is really hot and yucky out, so take an hour to yourself one day this week and scrapbook or make cards or create something fun! I really enjoyed getting back to the hobby that I love and getting Joey's story from that day down on paper.

You know you are a scrapbooker when....
Hello- Jennifer here...I was going through an old issue of Creating Keepsake magazine and I rediscovered a fun article by Melissa Wilson titled "You know you're a scrapbooker when..." these are a few of my favorites :
~You have tools your husband does not know how to use
(I have heard this from a number of my scrapbook friends)
~You pull buttons off old, unused or outgrown clothes to use them on your pages (I have totally done this)
~You save the ribbon off Godiva chocolate boxes to use on pages or cards
(again guilty as charged)
~You change you child's outfit to match the paper you just bought
(or you buy the outfit to match the paper like I do)
~You usually have your camera with you
(now if they would only make a battery charger for your purse)
Do you have some you would like to add?? Just post yours in our comment section :)
We just got in the new Page Maps Hard cover book in and we LOVE it. It includes not only great sketches & examples but nice sturdy cards with all the ideas from the book that you can take with you when you crop. This is definitely one you want to add to your collection
Lots more new CHA releases will be coming in over the next few weeks so make sure you come in and see all that is new!
Take care.

Back to School...Already?!?!
I was in Meijer just the other day and they were setting their Back to School display. We just got our summer going and now we are thinking about school?!? I am definitely not ready for Joey to go to 1st grade but this new Scenic Route paper collection Appleton has me ready to scrapbook.
I am sure I am not alone when I say that I haven't done the 1st day of school for last year (you don't have to admit it) so this collection is going to be perfect. I am a huge Scenic Route fan so you can bet their Liberty collection was also added to my stash this week.
Check it out soon. This is one that we will not reorder! ~~Marget

It's Pink, it's pretty and it's almost ready
Hello, Jennifer here!!! Boy have we've been busy getting the new store ready for all of you. The sign is up on the outside and the inside is all painted a very pretty shade of pink {yes, I had a little something to do with the color selection}. As of today we were getting the walls all merchandised and the fixtures were well on the way to getting filled up. We can't wait to see all of you this Saturday July 5th to show off our new store. Remember we are now located at 5951 Highland Road {M-59} just west of Meijer in White Lake. See you soon!
Take care!
